When I first started out as a PT back in 2015, I worked out of PureGym.

Back then, “PT” was barely a thing.

We had to work free hours just to be allowed on the gym floor, and most sessions were made up on the spot.

No plans, no accountability and no structure.

I still remember one of the busiest trainers - the one everyone looked up to - admitting five minutes before a session that he hadn’t planned anything.

It blew my mind.

He was meant to be the best coach in the gym… and he was completely winging it.

That moment stuck with me.

The Problem With 1-to-1 PT

Even as the industry evolved, something always felt off.

Clients were paying £400+ a month for two sessions a week - and still left to fend for themselves the rest of the time.

If they missed a session because of traffic, work, or family life? Tough luck… that’s just the way it was.

It worked fine for the few who could afford the time and money - but for most busy people, it wasn’t realistic.

And because of that, people were burning out, quitting, or feeling like failures… when really, it was the model that was broken.

The Truth About What People Actually Need

You see, most people don’t need more fancy equipment or another app that counts steps.
