I’ll just say it.
We dropped the ball.
The last Fat Loss in 15 episode went out at the end of November.
Then… silence.
But if I’m honest, this probably isn’t just about us.
You might feel like you’ve dropped the ball too.
➡️Maybe you started January strong.
➡️Maybe you had a plan.
➡️Maybe you were “back on it.”
And then life got loud - work picked up, someone got ill, energy dipped and your routine slipped.
That’s not a discipline problem.
That’s a support problem.
At the end of November, both me and Lucy got wiped out with the flu. Not the dramatic “man flu” version — the proper one. The kind that flattens you for two weeks and leaves you wondering why walking upstairs feels like a workout.
December rolled in with new year sign-ups, client events, Christmas chaos and actual life.
Just as we were finding our feet again, Lucy ended up in emergency surgery.
January became covering shifts, playing catch-up and running on fumes.
It wasn’t ideal.
But here’s the important bit:
We didn’t fail because we forgot what to do - we failed because structure disappeared.
And when structure disappears, even experienced coaches drift.
That’s the lesson.
Information isn’t the problem. Support is.
Today we kicked off our first six-week Accountability Sprint of the year.
It’s not clever, it’s not complicated, it’s simple on purpose.
➡️ You get a prompt in the morning.
➡️ You check in at night.
➡️ You stay visible.
That’s it.
After 12 years of coaching, I can tell you this with confidence:
Most people already know what to do.
➡️ Train a few times per week.
➡️ Walk more.
➡️ Eat better.
➡️ Sleep properly.
None of that is new.
But knowing and doing are two completely different things.
What closes that gap isn’t more knowledge.
It’s support.
Someone expecting you to show up.
A place where disappearing isn’t easy - a community that nudges you when motivation dips.
That’s what we’re building properly now.
Back in 2020 we ran a big online support group. It exploded. Hundreds of people. Great energy.
Then the gym got busy.
I stopped it.
That was on me.
So we’re rebuilding that layer again and properly this time.
You’ve probably noticed we don’t talk about fat loss the same way anymore.
That’s deliberate.
GLP-1 medications are everywhere now. They can absolutely work — but only if strength training and habits stay in place.
➡️ If you’re not lifting.
➡️ If you’re not protecting muscle and bone density.
➡️ If you’re not building behaviours that last.
You don’t build a stronger body.
You just shrink one.
And shrinking isn’t the goal.
Because when support isn’t there, people don’t just lose fat — they lose strength, confidence and capability too.
Fat loss was never the real win anyway.
The real win is walking into a gym without anxiety. Feeling capable in your own skin. Carrying yourself differently in your actual life.
That’s why we renamed our programme the Strong & Confident Method.
Fat loss becomes a side effect of consistency — supported consistency.
Not obsession.
Here’s something Lucy had our members do over the weekend.
And this is exactly the kind of conversation most people don’t have on their own.
Write down one to three things you refuse to sacrifice.
➡️ A weekly date night.
➡️ Holidays where you properly switch off.
➡️ A bit of chocolate each day.
Now here’s the reality:
The more you protect, the slower progress will be.
The less you protect, the faster it moves.
Neither is wrong.
The issue starts when expectations don’t match trade-offs.
If you want rapid change but won’t adjust anything, frustration builds.
If you accept steady progress while keeping real life intact, stress drops.
Fitness should fit your life.
But here’s the uncomfortable truth:
Most people don’t drift because they don’t understand this.
They drift because no one is helping them align it.
Again - not an information problem - A support problem.
If you’re someone who:
➡️ Knows what to do but keeps drifting.
➡️ Starts strong and fades around week six.
➡️ Feels stuck between all-or-nothing and doing nothing.
This is for you.
The full Fat Loss in 15 episode breaks this down properly — what happened, what we’re changing, and how to build structure that actually sticks.
New episode every Wednesday.
And if you don’t need another plan — but you do need someone in your corner — reach out.
Information isn’t the problem - Support is.
And that’s what we’re building here.
